Role Overview
EPAM seeks a Senior Java Software Developer to build full-stack products with ReactJS and Java 8.
The role focuses on fast, intuitive user experiences and high-quality web application delivery.
Work includes responsive UIs and REST API services using Spring Boot in a microservice architecture style.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver responsive web applications with React on the frontend and Java on the backend.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and developers to convert requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Optimize performance, scalability, speed, and user experience.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and refine development workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full stack development experience focused on React and Java.
- Strong React.js proficiency, including Redux and React Router.
- Deep Java backend engineering knowledge with Spring Boot or Java EE.
- Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB and efficient SQL queries.
- Practical familiarity with Git or similar version-control systems.
- Good understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Effective problem-solving and collaborative teamwork skills.
