Senior Interior Designer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, space plans, and layouts for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, mood boards, and material presentations.
• Produce technical drawings, joinery details, reflected ceiling plans, and furniture layouts.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, site engineers, and contractors.
• Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, materials, and color schemes for project requirements.
• Conduct site visits to monitor implementation and resolve design-related issues.
• Review shop drawings, material samples, and mock-ups.
• Ensure designs meet project specifications, building regulations, and client expectations.
• Manage design revisions and coordinate approvals with clients and consultants.
• Support design quality and project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
• 3 to 4+ years of professional interior design experience; a strong built portfolio is typically expected.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign.
• Familiarity with building codes, ADA/local compliance, zoning laws, and construction site protocols.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• UAE availability is preferred; UAE interior design experience is an advantage.

Tools and design skills

Compensation

• Pay is AED 10,000 per month.
