Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Job summary

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features using TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, SQL, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop data pipelines, backend services, APIs, and scalable application architecture.
• Build LLM-powered features, agentic workflows, and AI integrations for enterprise use cases.
• Design intuitive user interfaces for teams managing complex projects.
• Translate customer feedback and real-world problems into product requirements and practical solutions.
• Own features from concept through development, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, well-tested code and collaborate on technical decisions and product direction.
• Use AI development tools and help improve engineering processes as the team grows.

Requirements

• 0 to 5 years of experience as a software engineer, full-stack engineer, or product engineer.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills and experience building and shipping products used by real users.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and React; proficiency with Python and experience building backend services or APIs.
• Strong understanding of SQL, PostgreSQL, data systems, and application architecture.
• Cloud infrastructure experience; AWS is preferred.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and evidence of technical excellence.
• Project ownership, independent delivery, problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving environment.
• Evidence of ambition and initiative through projects, hackathons, research, startup experience, or other significant achievements.
• Ability to work with customers and translate real-world problems into product solutions.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience building LLM-powered applications, AI products, or agentic workflows.
• Startup or high-growth engineering experience.
• Experience with B2B, enterprise software, ERP-related products, or back-office automation.
• A strong portfolio of ambitious technical projects.
• Experience in a high engineering-bar environment or shipping products from early development through production.

Location and work arrangement

• Hybrid work arrangement in San Francisco, California.
• In-office Monday through Thursday and remote work on Friday.
• Candidates must be willing to work from San Francisco or relocate.

Compensation

• Base salary is listed as $180,000 to $220,000 per year.
• Equity is approximately 0.2% to 0.6%.
• Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates, including H-1B and O-1 sponsorship and eligible visa transfers.
