Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, configuration, integration, and extension of Presight products and platforms in customer environments.
• Own end-to-end technical delivery from discovery through production rollout.
• Design extensions, connectors, workflows, prototypes, and reusable implementation components.
• Translate customer requirements into solutions while evaluating feasibility, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Develop production-quality software, APIs, integrations, data pipelines, application components, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Troubleshoot application, data, integration, and infrastructure issues and maintain secure, reliable, documented deployments.
• Turn recurring customer requirements into reusable product capabilities and implementation patterns.
• Provide product feedback, develop delivery playbooks, collaborate across functions, and support knowledge transfer.
• Build trusted customer relationships and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Travel to customer locations as required and comply with QHSE, security, privacy, risk, compliance, and governance policies.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, solution engineering, implementation engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience delivering enterprise software solutions within complex customer environments.
• Strong programming experience using Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Experience with production software, APIs, integrations, data pipelines, distributed applications, and enterprise platform deployment.
• Experience building AI-enabled solutions, including LLM workflows and model integrations.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, systems integration, databases, and secure software development.
• Preferred experience includes cloud-native technologies, containerization, CI/CD, DevOps, reusable implementation frameworks, or relevant certifications.
