Engagement overview

Implementation and system enhancement

• Support implementation of the EPBCS budgeting and forecasting solution with the consultant and internal stakeholders.
• Collect, prepare, load, reconcile, and validate financial and operational data in EPBCS.
• Coordinate with business units to incorporate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements into system design and configuration.
• Perform UAT, data validation, and system verification.
• Support migration from manual Excel-based templates to a centralized and automated EPBCS platform.
• Maintain master data, planning assumptions, reporting structures, and implementation documentation.
• Train users and provide post-implementation support.
• Support local and regional finance teams in consistent group-wide implementation.
• Contribute to an operational Hyperion EPBCS solution that improves budgeting efficiency, forecasting accuracy, reporting, and governance.

Detailed duties

• Collect and validate budgeting and forecasting data from business stakeholders.
• Load and reconcile data in the EPBCS/Hyperion environment and verify it against approved source files and reports.
• Coordinate system configuration and requirements with the consultant and business users.
• Support UAT and track issues through resolution.
• Maintain planning metadata, assumptions, hierarchies, and master data.
• Develop and validate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting templates within EPBCS.
• Provide user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
• Support annual budget, forecast, and five-year business plan cycles through EPBCS.
• Support local and regional teams to promote consistent adoption and data quality.
• Review system readiness and validate migration from manual Excel-based processes.
• Prepare project status updates, issue logs, and progress reports.
