Company and team

Anduril is a defense technology company developing advanced technology for U.S. and allied military capabilities.

The Air Dominance & Strike division develops autonomous air vehicles and munitions, including Fury and Barracuda, for contested environments and scaled production.

The division’s finance team supports programs from rapid development through production ramp, partnering with engineering, supply chain, and program leadership.

Role overview

Provides dedicated program finance support to the Advanced Effects Business Line in the Air Dominance & Strike Division.

Supports missile programs scaling from development into production, focusing on hardware cost build-up across product lifecycles.

Works with Program Managers, Supply Chain, and Accounting to maintain cost visibility and financial rigor.

The role requires autonomous project ownership, clear communication, and support for evolving ERP and forecasting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own program-level cost forecasts and EAC/ETC development for hardware programs transitioning to production.
  • Build bottoms-up models for material, labor, overhead, and subcontract costs across the hardware build cycle.
  • Track actuals against baselines, identify variances, and conduct root-cause analysis with program and supply chain teams.
  • Deliver monthly financial reports and present performance narratives to program management and business-line leadership.
  • Reconcile procurement activity, inventory movements, and cost postings with Supply Chain and Accounting.
  • Improve FP&A and ERP forecasting workflows using Oracle, Anaplan, and Foundry.
  • Assist with pricing and proposal cost-volume development.
  • Contribute to long-range plans and production-rate ramp financial models.
  • Improve reporting accuracy, data integrity, and process efficiency.

Required qualifications

  • 3–5 years of FP&A, program finance, or cost analysis experience; hardware manufacturing or integration experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience building or managing physical-product cost models, such as BOM-based costing or production cost build-ups.
  • Strong understanding of material, labor, and indirect costs through a manufacturing or defense program lifecycle.
  • Ability to work independently and progress projects with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, including presenting financial narratives and variance explanations to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with financial systems and data tools; Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred qualifications

  • DoD industry experience or familiarity with FAR/CAS government contract cost accounting.
  • Security clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Experience with ERP transitions or implementing new forecasting tools.
  • Exposure to supply chain or procurement finance.

Location information

  • The posting states the role is anticipated to be based in Long Beach, California, beginning in late 2027.

Compensation

  • The listed salary range is USD 117,000–154,000 per year; the source describes it as estimated base salary.
