Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in façade engineering or site supervision with multi-project exposure; mentoring experience preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, façade system testing protocols, and relevant construction and compliance software.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead façade inspections, ensuring consistent adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Review and approve façade-related documentation, including detailed shop drawings and method statements.
- Mentor junior façade engineers on technical standards, inspections, and documentation practices.
- Coordinate and oversee façade performance testing (mock-ups, wind load, thermal performance).
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to resolve technical façade challenges on-site.
- Prepare comprehensive façade site inspection and compliance reports.
- Lead on-site discussions with contractors to address and resolve technical façade issues.
- Provide detailed technical input into NCR resolutions and façade quality improvement measures.
