Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a prestigious private residence in Dubai.
This is a live-in position supporting a high-net-worth family, requiring exceptional organisational skills, discretion, and a proactive approach to managing a luxury household.
The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of the residence, manage household staff, coordinate vendors and contractors, and maintain the highest standards of service and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the private residence, ensuring exceptional standards are maintained at all times.
- Recruit, manage, train, and supervise household staff, including housekeepers, chefs, drivers, nannies, and maintenance personnel.
- Create staff schedules, oversee performance, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Manage household budgets, expenses, and procurement of supplies and luxury household items.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, renovations, and relationships with external contractors and service providers.
- Organise household inventories and ensure all areas of the property are impeccably maintained.
- Coordinate family schedules, household logistics, and special requests.
- Assist with planning private events, dinners, and functions within the residence.
- Ensure complete confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with the family and their guests.
- Implement and maintain household procedures, policies, and service standards.
- Liaise with family offices, personal assistants, and other key stakeholders as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a House Manager or Estate Manager supporting a high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth family.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing multiple household staff and external service providers.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to changing priorities.
- Flexible approach to working hours when required.
- Fluent English is essential; additional languages are an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
