Drive development, design, manufacturing, and testing of rocket propulsion subsystems.
Provide technical leadership and project management from concept through qualification.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test propulsion systems using thermodynamic, fluid-dynamic, and structural principles.
- Lead system-level propulsion projects, technical interfaces, design reviews, and verification activities.
- Define system requirements and maintain technical baselines and configuration control.
- Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer.
- Support additive manufacturing, laser welding, milling, and heat treatment; resolve non-conformances.
- Advise on PLM implementation, process standardization, and data integrity.
- Prepare and review technical data packages, including drawings, specifications, test reports, and interface-control documents.
- Coordinate technical and project stakeholders and communicate cross-discipline risks.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of rocket propulsion development experience.
- Experience developing and producing Solid Rocket Motor data packs.
- Experience developing solid propellant rocket motors for missile applications.

- Broad mechanical-engineering knowledge related to propulsion development and manufacturing.
- Thorough understanding of propulsion product development, production, and systems engineering processes.
- Technical written and oral communication with technical and non-technical personnel, suppliers, and customers.
- Planning, organizing, problem-solving, influencing, and analytical thinking.
