Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Define, design, implement, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade test automation frameworks.
• Develop best practices for test automation, DevOps, CI/CD, shift-left quality, security, and performance controls.
• Implement test automation, RPA, and AI-driven automation solutions across Group IT service lines.
• Build automation platforms using UiPath RPA and AI components including document understanding, OCR, and machine-learning models.
• Design CI/CD solutions integrating automated testing, RPA workflows, and AI-assisted validation.
• Evaluate and implement test automation, RPA, and AI-based tools under responsible governance.
• Embed automation-first and AI-enabled practices into delivery standards and Git policies.
• Conduct proof-of-concepts for new automation tools and support test automation teams.
• Design reusable automation solutions using Selenium, BDD, Appium, REST Assured, Karate, and cloud mobile-device farms.
• Resolve complex issues such as PDF automation and test execution recording while supporting continuous improvement.

Requirements and qualifications

• At least 14 years of experience in test automation, functional testing, and DevOps.
• Expertise designing Selenium Java automation frameworks using BDD Cucumber for web and mobile applications.
• Experience with GitLab repositories, CI/CD pipeline architecture, Kubernetes deployment with Helm charts, and on-premise deployment.
• Hands-on experience developing web, mobile, API, and desktop applications using VB and Java.
• Experience with BrowserStack or similar cloud mobile testing platforms.
• Hands-on experience with IBM RIT service virtualization.
• Experience coordinating offshore and onshore teams and multiple vendors on large projects.
• Knowledge of corporate banking, operations, and payment systems.
• Ability to manage risks, perform impact analysis, and make decisions during complex initiatives.
• Experience mentoring team members, managing multiple projects, and handling large automation teams.
• Experience implementing QA processes and procedures.
• Data usage must comply with PCI DSS requirements.

Preferred qualifications

• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is beneficial.
• HashiCorp Terraform certification is beneficial.
• IBM RFT tool certification is beneficial.
