Job Summary
Lead the design, engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV systems for building and infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and MEP disciplines to meet project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ELV engineering and execution and review specifications, drawings, BOQs, and technical requirements.
- Prepare and review shop drawings, schematics, layouts, cable schedules, equipment schedules, and material submittals.
- Coordinate ELV works with architectural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and structural teams.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, handover, site progress, workmanship, and quality.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Review submissions, method statements, inspection requests, material approvals, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and test reports.
- Conduct inspections, resolve technical conflicts, troubleshoot system failures, and provide technical solutions.
- Support planning, procurement, material selection, technical evaluations, and project closeout.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians and provide technical guidance.
ELV Systems
- Preferred experience includes CCTV/video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, public address and voice evacuation, structured cabling, audio-visual systems, BMS, fire alarm, intercom, digital signage, networking, and ELV infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, or a related engineering discipline.
- Typically seven to twelve years of relevant ELV engineering experience with strong project execution experience.
- Strong knowledge of ELV design, installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and project coordination.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other engineering or design software.
- Knowledge of NFPA, IEC, BS, ISO, TIA, and applicable local regulations.
- Large-scale commercial, data center, airport, or infrastructure project experience is an advantage.
- Relevant ELV, networking, security, fire alarm, BMS, structured cabling, or project management certification is an advantage.
