Senior Electrical Engineer - Construction Projects

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead professionals to deliver major capital construction projects safely and support acquisition of new clients.
• Coordinate customers, operations, finance, internal leaders, design managers, architects, engineers, subject matter experts, contractors, and project teams.
• Direct work across project phases, including scope, resources, estimates, budgets, schedules, quality, and risk.
• Oversee general contractors, commissioning agents, testing agencies, project controls, and MEP teams to achieve schedule and budget goals.
• Support environmental, entitlement, and permitting requirements; create site development programs and project delivery plans.
• Manage communication, meetings, documentation governance, data integrity, status reporting, and variance action plans.
• Develop sourcing plans and manage vendor selection, awards, contracts, changes, financial controls, payments, claims, and closeout.
• Review constructability and value engineering; validate drawings, specifications, and field installations against design and required quality.
• Establish safety and risk controls, lead construction management meetings, report to senior leadership, and support on-site client presentations.

• Advanced professional experience and knowledge to resolve complex project issues.
• Advanced understanding of project management, planning, construction management, and data centers.
• Demonstrated leadership working with owners, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Able to guide project delivery resources and teams in achieving project goals.

Workplace

• The role includes on-site support for sales and marketing presentations to prospective clients and oversight of field construction installations.
