Key responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, emergency, and ELV systems, including security, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, and communications.
- Prepare electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and panel schedules using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders on integrated, coordinated designs.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, including NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and local standards such as DEWA, SBC, and Kahraman.
- Assist with proposals, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
- Review project specifications and deliver accurate, high-quality outputs.
- Provide technical support and participate in project meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
Technical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Experience using ETAP or similar electrical analysis tools.
- Familiarity with lighting design software such as Dialux or Relux.
- Deep understanding of international and Gulf-region electrical codes and standards.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities.
Education and experience
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- UK-, USA-, or Gulf-based project experience is preferred.
