  • Lead cathodic protection works for wellhead casings and pipelines.
  • Manage fiber optic and telecommunications cable installation, splicing and testing.

  • Direct wellhead and I-Field instrumentation installation and shutdown system testing.
  • Run loop checks, calibration, energisation packages, SAT and pre-commissioning.

Client and Standards

  • Act as the E&I interface with the Saudi Aramco PMT, inspection and operations representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards, SAEP procedures and Schedule Q.
  • Prepare and close inspection packages, RFIs, technical queries, NCRs and redline or as-built drawings.
  • Drive mechanical completion dossiers, loop folders, punch-list closure and turnover.

Safety, Quality and Cost

  • Apply the client HSE plan and Aramco electrical safety requirements, including lockout/tagout and energisation permits.
  • Coordinate QA/QC records for cable testing, cathodic protection surveys, loop tests and calibration certificates.
  • Control E&I materials, manpower and subcontractor cost against budget.
  • Identify E&I scope changes and support change notices with technical substantiation.

People Leadership

  • Lead E&I supervisors, foremen, technicians and specialist subcontractors on site.
  • Coach junior E&I engineers and support development of a team aligned with client Saudisation commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Saudi Council of Engineers registration is required.
  • Relevant Saudi Aramco onshore E&I construction experience, including a package as site E&I engineer in charge, is required.
  • Hands-on OMPP, cross-country pipeline or upstream wellsite construction experience is required.
  • Experience in at least two of overhead power lines, cathodic protection, fiber optic networks and RTU/SCADA installation is required.
  • Knowledge of Aramco standards, Schedule Q, energisation, loop testing, wellhead instrumentation and I-Field systems is required.
  • Saudi Aramco approval is preferred.
  • Experience with an Aramco-approved EPC contractor is required.
  • The position is based in the Eastern Province, with relocation to Dammam or Al Khobar and project-site work required as applicable.
