A Riyadh luxury interior design and construction company seeks an Interior Design Engineer to develop and deliver client interiors.
The role spans concept development, technical documentation, material selection, client coordination, and on-site execution.
About the client
The client serves corporate and private customers and manages projects from concept and design through project management and on-site delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop design direction, mood boards, color schemes, and material palettes around client ambitions and practical requirements.
- Create photorealistic 3D visualizations in 3ds Max with V-Ray or Corona for client concept approval.
- Prepare Revit and AutoCAD execution drawings, architectural layouts, joinery details, and finishing specifications.
- Source and assess materials, approve samples, coordinate suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage delivery schedules.
- Visit sites during finishing, check work against approved drawings, and resolve discrepancies and practical challenges with contractors.
- Present designs, explain recommendations, communicate progress, and respond to client design questions throughout execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architectural Engineering.
- Proven experience in concept development and on-site finishing supervision.
- Strong proficiency in 3ds Max, Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop.
- Understanding of materials, FF&E, joinery, and interior construction details.
- Knowledge of the Saudi design, construction, events, and luxury projects market.
- Effective communication, client coordination, and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Portfolio should include initial concepts, 3D renders, execution drawings, and completed-space photographs.
- SketchUp, Lumion, or V-Ray skills are an advantage.
