Join the construction team in Dubai as an experienced Shop Drawing Draftsman.
The role focuses on shop drawings for high-rise building construction; MEP shop drawing knowledge is preferred in the overview and required in the listed requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and revise detailed shop drawings for high-rise projects.
- Prepare and coordinate MEP shop drawings according to project requirements.
- Review design drawings, specifications, and project documents before drafting.
- Coordinate with project engineers, MEP engineers, site teams, and consultants.
- Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, and project requirements.
- Check drawings against approved specifications, standards, and project requirements.
- Identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for clarification.
- Maintain drawing records and submit drawings on time.
Requirements
- Five to eight years of experience as a Shop Drawing Draftsman.
- High-rise building construction project experience is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of MEP drawings and shop drawing preparation is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant drafting software.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
- Civil, architectural, and structural drawing knowledge is an advantage.
- UAE construction experience and immediate availability are preferred.
