The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Officer – Document Control to join a semi-government real estate development company in Abu Dhabi.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation for large-scale development projects across Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will oversee the control, tracking, review, and archiving of all project documents using Oracle Aconex, DocuSign, and Oracle E-Business Suite, ensuring full compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
You will work closely with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to manage document workflows, support payment-related documentation, and prepare project reports.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the full document control lifecycle, including submission, review, distribution, version control, and archiving
- Process contracts, work confirmations, variation requests, and payment-related documents
- Monitor and follow up on pending workflows and approvals
- Maintain accurate records in Aconex, Oracle, and SharePoint
- Prepare reports and support audits and project close-out documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8–10+ years of document control experience in the Middle East
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Aconex workflows
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, Oracle EBS, and iProcurement
- Experience in large-scale real estate or infrastructure projects in the UAE/Middle East
