Create ephemeral animation concepts for Parfums de Marly across international markets.
Work within the Visual Merchandising & Design team and report to its Head.
Collaborate with the marketing team and brand founder to turn strategic direction into deployable creative concepts.
Key responsibilities
- Design and sketch window displays, point-of-sale animations, events, and temporary installations.
- Align concepts with the marketing team's trade plan and commercial objectives.
- Integrate marketing and trade-plan objectives from the earliest design stage.
- Work with the brand founder to maintain alignment with the house's creative vision.
- Consider market needs and operational constraints in every concept.
- Lead technical development from initial sketch through production and deployment feasibility.
- Monitor creative developments and propose fresh, relevant ideas.
- Contribute to creative animation strategy.
Profile and experience
- Degree in design, art, or a creative field.
- At least 8–10 years creating retail animations or ephemeral concepts, ideally with major perfumery brands.
- Experience deploying creative concepts across markets and understanding local needs and constraints.
- French-speaking profile with sensitivity to the house's culture and aesthetic codes.
- Strong technical skills to bridge creative work and operational feasibility.
- Fluent English and availability for regular international travel.
- Agency experience is a plus alongside in-house brand experience.
Technical skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D drawing or rendering tools.
- Understanding of production and deployment constraints for temporary animation devices.
- Ability to translate creative concepts into technical specifications for markets and vendors.
