Senior Consultant, Strategy

Role overview

What you’ll do

• Lead enterprise-wide and business-unit strategy creation, defining what to do, why, and how to deliver business outcomes.
• Direct complex situation assessments in dynamic, ambiguous, and innovative industries.
• Coach teams on research, data gathering, analysis, and synthesizing findings into compelling client narratives.
• Provide perspectives on emerging trends and their effects on industry and client opportunities and challenges.
• Build client-team strategy capabilities; mentor strategists and lead within Slalom strategy communities.
• Develop project and program roadmaps for long-term client success.
• Guide process mapping and support complex process-mapping portfolios.
• Lead client-outcome and deal strategies, develop solution details, and create strategy opportunities and solutions.
• Develop cost estimates, staffing plans, team structures, timelines, and capabilities aligned with client needs.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience and demonstrated leadership in business strategy and process optimization.
• Experience with business and growth strategy, financial/business/process analysis, financial modeling, competitive research, value stream mapping, strategic roadmaps, executive communications, and continuous process improvement.

Preferred qualifications

• Big 4 consulting background preferred.
• MBA highly preferred.
