Senior Consultant –Organizational Excellence (King Abdulaziz Quality Award)

Brains Valley Business Services is seeking to engage a Senior Consultant specialized in management consulting and institutional excellence to lead and deliver end-to-end excellence and transformation projects aligned with the King Abdulaziz Quality Award (KAQA) and the EFQM Model, supporting government and semi-government entities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in achieving advanced levels of organizational excellence awards .

Senior Consultant – Organizational Excellence & Quality Awards

Role Objective

To lead and execute institutional excellence and transformation initiatives aligned with the

KAQA

Excellence Model (KAQA) and international best practices (EFQM), enhancing organizational maturity, ensuring effective implementation of improvement initiatives, and delivering high-quality award submission files.

The role also includes driving execution of excellence initiatives, supporting business units in applying excellence practices, and ensuring alignment between strategy, performance, and excellence frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and Execute KAQA & EFQM Readiness Projects

Lead full lifecycle excellence engagements—from planning and assessment to implementation and submission—ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, and quality standards.

Assess Current State and Organizational Maturity

Conduct structured assessments using KAQA/EFQM methodologies, including document reviews, stakeholder interviews, and performance analysis to determine maturity levels and readiness. including document reviews, stakeholder interviews, and performance analysis.

Design Excellence Roadmaps and Initiative Portfolios

Develop integrated transformation roadmaps and prioritized initiative portfolios including timelines, ownership models, and execution mechanisms.

Drive and Support Implementation of Initiatives

Go beyond oversight by actively supporting business units in executing initiatives, providing hands-on advisory, coaching, and follow-up to ensure effective implementation and results realization.

Monitor and supervise the execution of improvement initiatives in coordination with relevant departments, ensuring adherence to the approved roadmap and achievement of defined KPIs.

Supervise Preparation of Award Submission Files

Drive and Support Implementation of Initiatives

Lead the development and writing of the award submission document in line with approved frameworks, ensuring high-quality content that effectively links practices with evidence and results.

Promote a Culture of Excellence and Continuous Improvement

Drive awareness initiatives and internal communication efforts to embed a culture of quality, excellence, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Manage Stakeholder and Executive Relationships

Engage with executive leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and provide advisory support for informed decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

Certified Assessor in the King Abdulaziz Quality Award (KAQA) 

Minimum 10 years of experience in institutional excellence and quality , Management consulting 

Proven track record of delivering at least two (KAQA) excellence readiness projects within Saudi Arabia 

Hands-on experience with excellence models such as EFQM and

KAQA

excellence frameworks 

Familiar with ISO 9001 and Quality Frameworks
