Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Role summary

Cloud software development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native services and internal platforms using Python with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Build RESTful and event-driven APIs with Azure and AWS services; develop reusable libraries, frameworks, and shared services.
• Apply clean architecture, SOLID principles, and enterprise design patterns while addressing scalability, observability, security, resilience, and cost.

AI and CloudOps

• Build generative AI solutions using RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering, and context management.
• Design AI agents and multi-agent workflows; integrate agents with enterprise systems using MCP, tool-calling, and function-calling.
• Implement AI guardrails, evaluation, observability, token controls, responsible AI, privacy, governance, prompt-injection protection, and data security.
• Develop AI-driven CloudOps, anomaly detection, predictive scaling, event correlation, self-healing remediation, operational dashboards, and analytics.

Infrastructure and delivery

• Own infrastructure from design and deployment through optimization and decommissioning; maintain reusable Terraform IaC.
• Implement governance, policy-as-code, pre-deployment validation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps scanning, dependency, and secrets management.
• Enforce engineering standards through code reviews, version control, and automated validation.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews; collaborate with product owners, Scrum Masters, architects, and engineers.
• Break initiatives into user stories and backlog items with acceptance criteria and support continuous improvement.

Experience and education

• 6+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Cloud Development.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating enterprise-scale AWS and Azure environments.
• Experience delivering AI/ML, Generative AI, or AI-enabled solutions in production.
• Strong background in cloud-native development, platform engineering, DevOps, and automation.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Experience designing or integrating Agentic AI and LLM-based solutions is preferred.
