Senior Civil Engineer

Role overview

Required qualifications and experience

• At least 5 years of UAE experience in building construction projects.
• B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university is mandatory.
• Experience with G+4 buildings, residential and commercial construction, renovation, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain regulations, government procedures, approvals, permits, inspections, and project completion processes.

Project delivery qualifications

• Experience coordinating with authorities, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Ability to independently manage site execution, planning, manpower, materials, and subcontractor activities.
• Knowledge of structural and finishing works, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and construction quality standards.
• Experience with consultant inspections, technical submissions, RFIs, method statements, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution, planning, staffing, materials, and subcontractor activities.
• Coordinate authority processes and project stakeholders; manage technical submissions, inspections, and documentation.
• Ensure projects meet budget, quality, and deadline requirements.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Abu Dhabi or Al Ain government projects is preferred.
• Experience independently managing multiple construction and renovation projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with local authority approval procedures and consultant coordination is preferred.
• UAE driving licence and immediate availability are preferred.

Employment and compensation

• Employment type: full-time.
• Salary stated as AED 8,000–15,000 per month, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
