Architect – Technical Design & Landscape

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and develop architectural design drawings and detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Review IFC drawings for compliance with project specifications and consultant requirements.
• Prepare layouts, elevations, sections, construction details, and finishing drawings.
• Develop landscape designs, including hardscape, softscape, planting layouts, and grading plans.
• Coordinate architectural and landscape works with civil, structural, MEP, and irrigation teams.
• Prepare technical submissions, material submittals, and as-built drawings; incorporate consultant comments.
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies and technical clashes; coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Provide construction-stage technical support and conduct site visits to verify work against approved drawings.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and material specifications.
• Prepare 2D/3D presentations and design proposals when required; ensure timely submission and approval of technical drawings.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering and 4–5 years of relevant architectural experience.
• UAE construction or engineering consultancy experience is preferred.
• Excellent AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory.
• Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Photoshop knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of architectural shop drawings, construction details, and finishing works.
• Landscape design and technical coordination experience are highly preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE construction practices, consultant approval procedures, and project specifications.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple project requirements, and communicate and coordinate effectively.

Salary and benefits

• Pay is AED 5,000–10,000 per month.
• Employment visa and benefits are provided as per UAE Labour Law; salary is based on experience and qualifications.

• Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
