Key Responsibilities
- Execute joinery and carpentry works as per approved drawings.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Supervise and guide carpenters and workshop helpers.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and finishing standards.
- Take site measurements and assist with installations when required.
- Monitor material usage and report requirements to the supervisor.
- Ensure work is completed within project timelines.
- Follow health, safety, and workshop procedures at all times.
- Coordinate with workshop and site teams for smooth project execution
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in joinery, carpentry, or fit-out projects, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing, woodworking techniques, and installation processes.
- Ability to lead, supervise, and train carpenters and workshop helpers.
- Good measurement, cutting, assembly, and installation skills.
- Knowledge of workplace health, safety, and workshop procedures.
