Collaborates with business stakeholders, product owners, billing SMEs, developers, QA, architects, vendors, and delivery leads.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for BillingCenter initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, interviews, and stakeholder walkthroughs.
- Create requirements, user stories, functional specifications, process flows, data mappings, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
- Support enhancements, integrations, cloud migration readiness, remediation, and production support.
- Assist QA with test review, UAT coordination, defect triage, and business sign-off.
- Analyze current and future processes, identify gaps and impacts, and recommend practical solutions.
- Coordinate with product, development, QA, architecture, and business teams to support delivery.
- Support Agile ceremonies and release planning.
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and requirement changes; prepare status updates, presentations, and leadership summaries.
Candidate qualifications
- At least 8 years as a Business Systems Analyst, including at least 5 years focused on Guidewire-related work.
- Hands-on experience with BillingCenter implementations, enhancements, integrations, or production support.
- Strong understanding of billing plans, invoices, payments, commissions, delinquency, disbursements, refunds, and account servicing.
- Experience producing business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process maps, data mappings, and traceability documentation.
- Experience with testing, UAT, defect management, and production validation.
Preferred qualifications
- Guidewire certification in BillingCenter or Insurance Suite Analyst is preferred.
- Guidewire Cloud, cloud migration readiness, archive/purging, or remediation experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of integrations, APIs, data mapping, payment platforms, document generation, or downstream billing systems is preferred.
- Executive updates, dashboards, delivery summaries, or governance documentation experience is preferred.
