Senior Business Analyst – Regulatory Reporting (Capital Markets)
About This Role
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Capital Markets and Regulatory Reporting to join a high-impact delivery team. This role plays a critical part in bridging business, operations, and technology to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient trade reporting across global regulatory frameworks.
🔹 Experience Required: 5–8+ years in Business Analysis within banking/financial services
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis; create BRDs, FSDs, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Translate regulatory requirements (EMIR, CFTC, FCA, etc.) into functional specifications and test scenarios
- Analyze trade lifecycle flows (Front Office → Reporting) ensuring accurate data transformation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and defect triage sessions
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, Compliance, and Technology
- Support regulatory reporting platform enhancements and migration initiatives
✅ Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in Capital Markets & Regulatory Reporting
- Hands-on experience with large-scale trade data & reconciliation processes
- Experience working in Agile environments with distributed/global teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Arabic language proficiency (mandatory)
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulatory reporting transformation or platform migration projects
- Certifications in Business Analysis, QA, or Data Analysis
