Position: Senior Architectural Draftsman.
Employment is full-time and on-site in Doha, Qatar.
Five to six years of experience are required; GCC experience is preferred.
Core responsibilities
- Convert architectural sketches, concepts, and IFC drawings into precise working drawings, detailed floor plans, elevations, and structural sections.
- Produce technical packages covering joinery, millwork, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, and bathroom interiors.
- Coordinate architectural plans with MEP layouts, structural designs, and life-safety regulations.
- Lead preparation, review, and submittal of shop drawings, as-built packages, and material take-offs.
- Identify spatial and engineering conflicts, resolve technical discrepancies, and respond to site RFIs.
- Maintain organized drawing registers, revisions, and historical records for smooth site operations.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Drafting.
- Five to six years of experience; GCC experience is preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of building materials, construction detailing, local authority regulations such as civil defense and fire codes, and fit-out methodology.
- Strong coordination skills to interface with clients, site engineers, and project management teams.
Software and language
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows, 3ds Max, or SketchUp is an asset.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 6,000–6,500 per month.

- Work location is in person in Doha, Qatar.
