Quality and site duties
- Maintain and execute project-specific PQPs and ITPs for electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical containment, cabling, switchgear, ELV systems, lighting, and earthing daily and manage RFIs.
- Review electrical material submittals against project data sheets, design specifications, and approved vendor lists.
- Inspect arriving equipment and prepare MIRs.
- Witness and document insulation resistance, continuity, loop-checking, and grounding resistance tests before energization.
- Ensure compliance with KAHRAMAA regulations, QCDD fire-alarm requirements, and QCS.
- Raise NCRs for defects and track corrective actions through resolution.
Required qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- 3–5 years of verified QA/QC experience on electrical or ELV construction projects.
- At least 3 years of experience in Qatar or the GCC region.
- Understanding of Gulf engineering specifications, including QCS.
- Expert proficiency reading electrical shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and schematic diagrams.
- A valid QID is required.
- Immediate availability to join is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and technical report-writing skills; ability to interface with project managers, consultants, and clients.
- Analytical approach and rigorous attention to construction safety, quality detailing, and compliance.
Pay
- QAR 5,000–6,000 per month.
