Electrical Engineer joining a construction team in Doha, Qatar, responsible for site execution, coordination, and supervision of electrical and ELV works.
Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of electrical distribution, lighting, containment, cabling, switchgear, transformers, and ELV systems such as CCTV, fire alarms, and access control.
- Monitor site progress against schedules and coordinate labor, materials, and equipment while maintaining safety and quality.
- Review shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and schematics to resolve discrepancies before execution.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, civil and mechanical teams, and clients to resolve project interfaces and clashes.
- Coordinate execution with local standards and authority requirements, including KAHRAMAA and QCDD.
- Estimate material needs, track deliveries, and submit material inspection requests.
Required qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited and recognized university.
- 3–5 years of verified Electrical Engineer experience on construction sites, including at least 3 years in Qatar or the GCC.
- Thorough familiarity with QCS and strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or MS Project.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 5,000–6,000 per month.
