This is a Senior Applications Engineer/Field Sales Engineer role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role combines technical sales and applications engineering for Electro-Voice and Dynacord professional audio products.
The position supports customers and partners from initial consultation through project completion.
Applications and System Design
- Provide application engineering and technical support for Electro-Voice and Dynacord solutions across the Middle East and Africa.
- Design and review loudspeaker layouts, DSP configurations, acoustic simulations, and IP audio networks.
- Develop system designs, bills of materials, and technical proposals using professional audio tools and AutoCAD.
Customer and Sales Support
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, customer training, and workshops.
- Support business development through technical expertise, market feedback, industry events, and customer activities.
- Build relationships with consultants, integrators, distributors, and customers in the professional audio industry.
Testing and Commissioning
- Perform system tuning, measurement, optimization, and troubleshooting for audio, networking, hardware, and software integration challenges.
- Support commissioning of complex and large-scale installed and live sound systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Audio Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of professional audio, AV system design, application engineering, or technical support experience.
- Strong knowledge of loudspeaker systems, amplifiers, DSP, digital audio processing, and installed sound solutions.
- Experience with AutoCAD, acoustic simulation tools, audio measurement software, and IP audio networking.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, and multicast networking.
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent networking knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, troubleshooting, project management, and customer-facing skills.
Travel and Workplace
- The role is based in Riyadh and requires extensive travel across the Middle East and Africa region.
