Job Purpose
Provide support in the designing, development, and implementation of Appian Business Process Management applications based on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support in the delivery of the Digital transformation by supporting the business units to Implement Appian solutions in line with Banks Digitalization Strategy and in line with regulatory and QCB requirements.
- Ensure that all the business requirements are handled in accordance to the policies and procedures in an efficient manner.
- Contribute to the development of relevant IT processes, policies and procedures from time to time.
- Works with business users to translate business requirements into technical designs to map and load data from Core banking, Middleware and other supporting systems.
- Understand the differences between REST, JSON, SOAP and Expert knowledge of design principles in integrating to Web Services.
- Collaborate with IT and other vendors to build critical Appian based application as well as associated integration components.
- Provide technical level support for Appian platform and for critical as well as business applications in Appian, including, RCA and debugging of issues in Interfaces and Process Models, within the agreed SLA targets.
- Work on critical Development, Support, and enhancement requests, and ensure the availability, accessibility, and accuracy of the deliverables.
- Requirement gathering and analysis. Design and develop technical solutions on the Appian BPM Suite based on the requirements gathered.
- Work closely with IT and other vendors to ensure successful integration of Appian applications with document processing software, existing systems of the Bank and third party platforms.
- Designing Appian data models. Defining architectural & development standards for the project in adherence to Appian best practices.
- Conduct system performance evaluations and regular code reviews. Optimize Appian solutions for improved speed and efficiency.
- Provide support in the User Acceptance Testing with business users, application deployments, verification, and monitoring & Go Live planning.
- Support the relevant phases of the change & release management process, adhering to delivery milestones and timelines.
- Proactive monitoring of batch jobs, transactional errors, dashboards, production reporting schedules, database, and Server health.
- Provide Support Appian infrastructure like Installation & Configuration of Appian multi-node cluster, Webservers, SAML integration with AD.
- Provide support in Appian platform upgrade & Patching, ABBYY software patching and upgrade, and in the DR/BCP planning and testing.
- Ensures that all assigned reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet the Bank and department’s requirements, policies and standards.
- Represent the department and actively contribute in internal meetings with various stakeholders as well as external meetings with clients/vendors.
- Undertake any other duties of similar nature that are related to the department and are within the expertise and skills of the jobholder.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- Accredited certification in Project Management, preferably.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum of 06 - 08 years in Appian IT architecture, with substantial experience in developing solutions using Appian tools.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Appian's low-code platform, middleware integrations, document processing and other innovative solutions to meet Bank’s business needs.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Appian solutions.

- Strong understanding of Appian architecture, best practices, and design patterns.
- Solid understanding of business processes and workflows.
- Strong knowledge in Document Management system-SharePoint.
- Experience in integrating Appian process with other banking applications and document processing and management software.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong project management skills are essential.
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
