Senior Analytics Developer

Position overview

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable analytical models and transformations using SQL, dbt, Dagster, and modern warehouse patterns.
• Define model structures, relationships, dimensions, snapshots, incremental strategies, and materializations.
• Create reusable metrics, semantic definitions, and datasets for BI, experimentation, product analytics, and AI workflows.
• Develop reliable ELT workflows and apply production practices including testing, observability, lineage, documentation, governance, version control, and CI/CD.
• Analyze product and business performance, create machine-readable business context, and use and validate AI-generated code.
• Mentor developers and analysts in modelling, SQL, metrics, testing, documentation, and responsible AI-augmented development.

Requirements

• English proficiency for daily communication with international colleagues and partners.
• 5+ years of relevant analytics, data, or BI development experience.
• Advanced SQL and relational and dimensional modelling expertise.
• Production transformation experience with dbt or a comparable framework on a modern cloud warehouse or lakehouse.
• Experience with tests, documentation, lineage, version control, CI/CD, observability, governance, privacy, and access controls.
• Ability to govern business metrics, semantic models, and reusable datasets used across teams or products.
• Strong product and business acumen; proficiency in Python and AI-assisted or agentic development workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for explaining technical choices and data limitations.
