Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis

Main objective

Key responsibilities

• Assist with annual budgets and periodic forecasts; collect input, validate assumptions, and consolidate forecasts with department heads and senior management.
• Monitor budget performance, explain variances, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts.
• Identify performance trends and drivers, communicate findings, and develop financial models for planning and decision-making.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis and provide ad hoc analysis and decision support to senior management and business units.
• Support capital investment and cost optimization initiatives with financial analysis and insights.
• Work across departments to gather financial data, understand business drivers, and align financial plans with operational goals.
• Create reports, dashboards, and analytics using FP&A systems; perform data analysis and validation for planning and decision-making.
• Check purchase requisitions and procurement orders against approved budgets and validate cost accounting code combinations.
• Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and ensure FP&A task management and email ticketing tools work appropriately and related service-level agreements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Management, Economics, or Cost Accounting; the posting also specifies a bachelor's degree (3+ years).
• Fluent English and a minimum of two years' experience as a Financial Analyst; FP&A or related experience is ideal.
• Financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with FP&A systems, including Oracle EPM, Hyperion, Planning Analytics, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or Alteryx, is desirable.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is desirable.
