Role overview
Brookfield is seeking a Senior Analyst, Finance in Toronto.
The role supports financial operations in a fast-paced, data-rich, technology-oriented environment and contributes to process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Analyze quarterly liquidity forecasts and accounts receivable and payable trends.
- Prepare and issue internal chargeback bills using Dynamics 365 and a custom billing tool.
- Review and post documented journal entries; verify cash receipt applications and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate billing settlements with Fund Operations and Investment teams.
- Support monthly and quarterly close, reconciliations, and timely completion of billing transactions.
- Monitor aged receivables and open billings to support collection and cost recovery.
- Work with Technology Service on system issues, implementations, enhancements, testing, and process transformation.
- Create training materials and communications that support adoption and standardization.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, system integration, controls, reporting automation, and data quality.
- Foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and disciplined culture.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or a related role.
- Experience in asset management, financial services, or a comparable field is preferred.
