Position summary
A hands-on Communications Generalist at Manager level in Dubai, spanning media relations, content development, and project management.
The role helps execute Brookfield's regional communications and content strategy across the Middle East and aligns with the global communications framework.
The position reports to the Head of Corporate Communications for India and Middle East.
Content and project management
- Draft and edit transaction announcements, executive communications, internal memos, social media, and digital content.
- Support owned content across website, intranet, social, video, and newsletters.
- Identify opportunities to promote Brookfield's brand, investments, and thought leadership; support regional events and track relevant industry events for leaders.
- Ensure content reflects brand standards and strategic priorities; provide editorial support to senior stakeholders and business teams.
- Plan and execute regional initiatives; manage timelines, approvals, and deliverables across concurrent projects.
- Coordinate internal and external workflows and support multimedia production, including video.
Media relations
- Support proactive and reactive media engagement and coordinate timely responses to media inquiries with internal stakeholders, including Legal and business teams.
- Draft and manage press releases, Q&As, briefing documents, talking points, and media strategies.
- Build relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Support issues and reputation management through monitoring, escalation, and response coordination.
Qualifications and experience
- 7–10 years of professional communications experience in an agency or in-house.
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is mandatory.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, attention to detail and accuracy, and a hands-on approach.
- Experience supporting content across digital and social channels.
- Organized and reliable, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across geographies; collaborative across teams and geographies.
- Middle East media experience is desired, ideally with exposure to financial services or related sectors.
Communications team
The team manages Brookfield's brand and reputation in the Middle East, including relationships with media, clients, shareholders, policymakers, and the public.
The team keeps employees informed about firm strategies and creates content about the business, executives, investment strategies, capabilities, and brand.
