Role Summary

The Senior Accountant for F&B Operations will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations related to F&B entities across multiple jurisdictions.

The role will oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance coordination, and operational finance support for F&B businesses.

The position will act as the primary finance contact for F&B operational matters and will coordinate closely with the finance team and operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, financial control, and efficient finance processes.

Financial Operations

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations related to F&B entities.
  • Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions within the ERP system.
  • Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare periodic financial reports for F&B entities.
  • Monitor operational performance and highlight financial variances.
  • Support preparation of management reports and financial summaries.

Cash Flow & Fund Management

  • Monitor operational cash flows for F&B entities.
  • Prepare fund requirement reports and coordinate payments with the finance team.
  • Ensure timely processing of supplier payments and operational expenses.

Compliance & Regulatory Coordination

  • Support preparation and submission of regulatory filings such as VAT and other statutory requirements where applicable.
  • Coordinate with external advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies when required.

Operational Coordination

  • Act as the primary finance contact for F&B operational teams.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure financial procedures and controls are followed.

Reconciliation & Controls

  • Review bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and customer account statements.
  • Maintain financial accuracy and ensure internal financial controls are adhered to.

Erp & Process Support

  • Work closely with the ERP team to ensure financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.
  • Assist in improving finance processes and documentation.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 4–6 years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Experience handling multi-entity accounting or international operations is preferred.
  • Prior experience in retail, restaurant, or multi-location businesses would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, CPA will be considered an advantage.
