About This Role
Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant with 5-6 years of experience in general accounting.
Proficiency in **SAP B1 is mandatory**, and experience with accounting software like ICG System is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Manage Cash Flow, General Ledger, and Inventory Modules
- Assist in Auditing processes
- Prepare monthly financial statements:
- Trial Balance
• Profit & Loss Account
- Balance Sheet
- Bank Reconciliation (weekly & monthly)
• Cash Position & Budget Reports
- **Create and manage vendor accounts in SAP**
- Process debit and credit memos, and maintain vendor invoices
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing reports
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and transactions
- Provide resolutions to process-related queries through email communication
- Prepare and process:
- Electronic payments
- Credit card reconciliations
- Refund cheques
- Support other accounting tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
- 5-6 years of relevant accounting experience
- **Proficiency in SAP B1, ERP is required**
- Experience with ICG System is a plus
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
