Role Overview

Key Focus Areas

• **VAT & FTA Compliance:**
• Managing monthly/quarterly VAT filings and ensuring full compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
• **Corporate Tax Readiness:**
• Leading the implementation and monitoring of the UAE Corporate Tax framework within the company.
• **Financial Reporting:**
• Preparing executive-level P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis for the UAE entity.
• **Audit Leadership:**
• Coordinating with Tier-1 external auditors to ensure our financial statements meet IFRS standards.

What You’ll Do

• **Financial Integrity:**
• Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including the general ledger, asset management, and monthly reconciliations.
• **Strategic Cash Management:**
• Monitor liquidity and manage multi-currency transactions across our regional bank accounts.
• **Payroll & Benefits:**
• Oversee WPS (Wage Protection System) compliance and end-of-service gratuity calculations for the local team.
• **Intercompany Accounting:**
• Manage cross-border transactions and transfer pricing documentation between our UAE, KSA, and UK offices.
• **Tech Integration:**
• Optimize our use of cloud-based ERP systems (Xero/Oracle/NetSuite) to automate reporting.

What We’re Looking For

• **Experience:**
• 4–7 years in accounting, with at least 2 years in a UAE-based Tech, SaaS, or professional services firm.
• **Credentials:**
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

CPA, ACCA, or CA

• qualification is mandatory.
• **Tax Expertise:**
• Proven experience in UAE VAT and a strong understanding of the new UAE Corporate Tax laws.
• **Tech Stack:**
• Expert proficiency in cloud accounting software and advanced financial modeling in Excel.
• **Communication:**
• Exceptional English proficiency.
• Professional Arabic is a distinct advantage for bank and government relations.
