Job Summary
The **Senior Accountant** will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable financial regulations
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
- Monitor cash flow and financial transactions
- Provide financial insights and reports to management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
- Advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
