Hiring: Senior Accountant \| Dubai
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Accountant
to join a dynamic finance environment within a diversified group structure.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting across multiple entities.
The position requires strong technical accounting expertise, solid ERP exposure, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial operations across multiple entities within a group structure
- Ensure accurate booking of transactions and timely month-end closing
- Review and approve journal entries and payment processes (suppliers, payroll, OPEX)
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and support group consolidation processes
- Maintain oversight of bank accounts, asset registers, petty cash, AR and AP balances
- Support external audit requirements and respond to audit queries
- Prepare monthly cash flow reports to support financial visibility and decision-making
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and reporting requirements
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports and provide data insights when required
- Ensure ERP data integrity to support accurate financial reporting
Technical Requirements
- Strong knowledge of IFRS principles
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems
- Solid understanding of month-end closing processes
- Experience working in multi-entity environments
- UAE VAT experience is required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Environment
- Trading industry exposure preferred
- Interaction with multiple business units and internal stakeholders
