Job Summary
Falcon Group of Companies is looking for a highly driven Senior Accountant with proven experience in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining accuracy under pressure while supporting the company’s financial health and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with applicable standards and timelines.
- Manage general ledger activities, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently within strict deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and internal controls.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting in a rapidly changing environment.
- Support audits by preparing schedules and coordinating with auditors.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure timely deliverables.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in a high-volume transaction environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) or MBA (Finance/Accounting).
- 2– 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced industry.
- Strong ability to manage high-volume transactions with accuracy.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
