The company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, reporting, tax compliance, reconciliations, and financial analysis in Dubai.
Position details
- The position is based in Dubai, UAE.
- The job is full-time and requires in-person work.
- Minimum five years of accounting experience is required.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting and financial transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts and the general ledger.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable and perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss and balance sheet reports.
- Manage petty cash and expense records and monitor cash flow, receivables, and company expenses.
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns and maintain VAT-related records.
- Assist with UAE Corporate Tax compliance and documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation.
- Maintain transaction filing and supporting documentation.
- Assist management with budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable UAE regulations.
Requirements
- At least five years of accounting experience is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting is required.
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax is required.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are required.
- Good English communication skills and the ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines are required.
- UAE accounting experience and immediate availability to join are preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000 to AED 6,000 per month.
