About This Role
Overview
We are seeking an experienced **Senior Accountant** to independently manage end-to-end accounting operations for one of our divisions.
The role requires strong hands-on expertise in full-cycle accounting, compliance, reporting, and financial controls, with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of supporting management with accurate and timely financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete accounting functions including **GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end/year-end closing**
- Prepare and review **journal entries**, accruals, and provisions
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with **UAE accounting standards and company policies**
- Prepare **monthly MIS reports**, financial statements, and variance analysis
- Handle **VAT compliance** including registration, returns, reconciliations, and audits
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost controls
- Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and payment processing
- Maintain proper documentation and internal controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting as required
- Identify process improvements and ensure accounting best practices
& Qualifications
- **Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (BCOM)**
- Professional qualification such as **CMA / ACCA / CA Inter preferred**
- **3–5+ years of relevant UAE accounting experience**
- Strong knowledge of **full-cycle accounting and VAT regulations**
- Ability to work **independently with minimal supervision**
- Proficiency in accounting software and **MS Excel**
