About This Role
Key Responsibilities: Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with **IFRS** and UAE regulations.
- Oversee **accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger** management.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights for management decision-making.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with **UAE VAT, Corporate Tax,** and other statutory regulations.
- Manage tax filings, audits, and liaise with external auditors and consultants.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the property development and real estate sector.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor daily cash flow to maintain liquidity for operations and investments.
- Manage banking transactions, loan settlements, and reconciliations.
- Develop cash flow forecasts to support strategic financial planning.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
- Implement cost-control strategies to improve financial performance.
- Ensure all expenditures align with company policies and approved budgets.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Manage internal and external audits to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Continuously optimize accounting processes and systems for efficiency.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting team, including junior accountants and bookkeepers.
- Provide training on accounting best practices and UAE financial regulations.
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to improve reporting accuracy and workflow.
Candidate Profile Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or related field**.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of **IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate taxation**.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as **Tally Prime**.
- Experience in financial reporting, audits, and reconciliations.
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, team management, and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with superior organizational and time management skills.
