About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial operations efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
(Duties & Tasks)
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
- Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and company financial policies
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
- Improve and streamline accounting processes and internal controls
& Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a strong advantage
- 5–7 years of proven experience in accounting (preferably in UAE)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
