Senior Accountant

We’re looking for an experienced **accountant** to support our accounts operations in Dubai.
The role requires strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, corporate tax, and hands-on experience with reporting and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor reconciliations
- Assist with payroll, expense claims, and internal audits
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting ERP software (e.g., Firstbit, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP)
- Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT laws
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA will be an added advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
