We’re Hiring \| Senior Accountant \| Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah (UAE)

Global Industries FZC
is expanding, and we’re looking for a
Senior Accountant
to take ownership of financial reporting, support strategic decisions, and strengthen our finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial statements and detailed variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Asset Performance: Oversee the lifecycle accounting of our industrial fleet, including depreciation, ROI analysis, and CAPEX tracking
- Partner with operations and management to provide financial insights
- Identify and implement process improvements and controls
Core Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting (IFRS preferred)
- Hands-on experience with VAT filings and UAE tax compliance
- Fixed Asset Management and Depreciation Strategies.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo or similar)
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA
- Previous experience in Heavy Equipment Rental, Construction, or the Oil & Gas service sector is a significant advantage.
