About This Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong experience in international accounting standards and multi-entity environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to **IFRS**, group reporting, and consolidation across multiple jurisdictions, preferably within a multinational organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with **IFRS**
- Handle **group reporting and consolidation** for multiple entities across different countries
- Manage **month-end and year-end close processes** with accuracy and timeliness
- Record and reconcile **intercompany transactions** and balances
- Monitor and account for **foreign currency transactions** and FX adjustments
- Coordinate with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting practices
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
- Work closely with regional finance teams and international stakeholders
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification such as **ACCA**, **CPA**, or **CIMA** (mandatory or in progress)
- Minimum **5–8 years of experience**, preferably in a multinational company (MNC) or Big 4 environment
- Strong knowledge of **IFRS** (essential); exposure to **US GAAP** is a plus
- Proven experience in **multi-entity accounting, consolidation, and group reporting**
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with **Big 4 firms** or multinational organizations
- Exposure to **cross-border taxation, transfer pricing, or shared service environments**
- Experience working with regional or global finance teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED11,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
