Role overview
Handle day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with UAE regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions; manage payables and receivables, invoices, payment follow-ups, and vendor statement reconciliation.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, maintain the general ledger, and prepare monthly trial balances.
- Prepare invoices and quotation support documents, and match delivery notes.
- Assist with financial statements and management reports; prepare and file UAE VAT returns and support corporate tax requirements.
- Maintain petty cash, staff expense claims, and records; reconcile stock and inventory with store and sales teams.
- Coordinate audits and provide requested documents; support budgeting and analysis; maintain physical and digital accounting files.
Required qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and basic corporate tax requirements.
- Proficiency in Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software, and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to meet deadlines, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good English communication skills; Arabic or Hindi is an advantage.
- CMA, ACCA, or CA inter is an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000–8,000 per month, with salary based on experience and company policy.
