Job Description
- The Security Officer is entrusted with the essential responsibility of maintaining the highest level of security within the Hotel premises at all times.
- This role demands unwavering vigilance and strict adherence to established protocols.
- Rigorously enforce and comply with all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations as stipulated by Accor and the Hotel to ensure optimal uniformity and guest service.
- Report directly to the Safety & Security Manager, maintaining a clear chain of command.
- Assume full responsibility for the protection of all guests, patrons, employees, and their belongings, treating this duty with the utmost seriousness.
- Vigilantly safeguard all Hotel property, ensuring its protection at all times.
- Assume command of Hotel Security during assigned duty hours, exercising authority with discretion and professionalism.
- Meticulously secure all hotel properties, staff, and clientele in strict accordance with the procedures outlined in the security manual.
- Enforce the Hotel's Rules and Regulations with unwavering consistency and impartiality.
- Diligently implement the Accor Vision and demonstrate active adherence to the Accor Values in all aspects of the role.
- Maintain a comprehensive and accurate record of all significant incidents and activities in the logbook during shifts, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- Handle all Lost and Found properties with utmost care and precision, recording them in the Security Management System, promptly transferring non-valuables to the Housekeeping Department, and keeping the Duty Manager informed at all times.
- Maintain a meticulous Hotel Logbook, documenting all incidents and complaints, and referring them to the appropriate department for follow-up action when necessary, ensuring a seamless flow of critical information.
Qualifications
- Proven 1-2 years of experience as a security officer
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
- Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
